BASIC PROOFREADING
As a guide, we can proofread a 150-200 page manuscript for only £20 - but note: this is NOT the same as editing!
FULL EDITING
Our full editing service for manuscripts on disc is only £20 per hour. This includes a full spell check, a thorough
grammar check, a proofread, and a general ‘polishing’ of the work. All of this will elevate the book to a standard
that merits publication (though we, of course, cannot guarantee publication!). NOTE: this may result in your book
being shortened, lengthened, or otherwise altered; but as this will be done by a university trained Publishing
Studies BA graduate who has worked in all aspects of editing, publishing and production of newspapers, magazines
and books, this will only enhance the work (your original text shall be retained on disc for comparison). Both
editions will be given back to you on PC disc as a Word file (please advise if you cannot access this format). For
£15 extra we can typeset the manuscript and print out one perfect bound copy (up to 200 pages), with basic
design on a 350gsm card cover; a bespoke, fully designed, full colour cover on 270gsm gloss card is £10 on top.
COMPLETE PUBLISHING PACKAGE
We can take you and your raw manuscript and metamorphose both into bona fide publisher and published book.
You will be a fully fledged publisher with unique imprint of your choice (unless the name is already taken), with
specially designed logo, unique ISBN publisher prefix and allocation, and even an ecommerce website to sell your
work. Your pride and joy, meantime, will be turned from a raw word processor file into a manuscript of publishable
quality (as the FULL EDITING section), be printed as perfect bound A5 or A4 books on quality paper, and have
bespoke full colour covers. The actual cost of this is impossible to list here as the page length, complexity of
cover, cost of ecommerce site, ISBN allocation, and so on all vary. Pop in and see us and we can work out a quote.
